Testimonials

  • “GForce Athletics runs an outstanding program with top-notch coaches who truly care about teaching kids the fundamentals of hockey.

They make learning fun and engaging, while also fostering independence by encouraging kids to try things on their own before stepping in to help. My son loves attending the summer program at Fifth Third and looks forward to it every day.

The coaches also set a great tone of respect and safety — addressing situations between kids promptly and thoughtfully, always keeping the focus on learning. Instructors like Coach Connor clearly love the sport, and their passion inspires everyone.

    Highly recommend!”

  • “I am not one to write reviews but Coach Ashley and Goodman Elite are beyond phenomenal so I have to get the word out about their program. Coach Ashley has worked with my son for the past 3 years and it has been transformational. He is a hockey player and just graduated from high school. He worked with Coach Ashley and the Goodman staff at The Edge Ice Arena, Addison Ice Arena and Fifth Third Ice Arena. All facilities are top notch, the trainers are amazing role models and the one on one training he received was spot on to improve his performance. This not only helped him excel on the ice but also when he ran track during his off season. Coach Ashley also put together a nutrition plan which guided my son and helped him meet some personal goals. I do feel that The Goodman training program was the game changer for him these past 3 years, I only wish we had found them sooner! If your child is an athlete I would highly recommend getting them into the program. They will do what they can to cater to your athletes needs to push them beyond their limits. Thank you Coach Ashley and Goodman for all you have done!”

  • “My daughter plays AAA hockey and has been doing the G Force Summer Program that includes 2 speed sessions on the turf a week, 3 - 90 min off ice workouts and 3 on ice skills sessions. The off ice training with Ashley Johnson has been incredible. She is extremely knowledgeable and develops a program that caters to each athletes needs. Not only has my daughter become stronger, but she has developed a love for strength and conditioning. The approach on ice has also been fantastic with Coach Jan. Each day has focused on developing and strengthening all facets of the game - edgework, speed, power skating, stick handling, puck protection, positioning, shooting and small game battles. If you’re looking for an all encompassing program, this is it!”
